When you jump from over 9,000ft you can see Dunk Island, which is the most northerly lying island and the largest of the Family Group which are situated on the Great Barrier Reef. Dunk Island is probably one of the best known of Australia’s tropical islands. As you jump over the island, you see a mosaic of shades of green and blue that are visible from the air. From June to October whales can be seen migrating up the coast to their breeding grounds. Dolphins and other marine creatures can also be seen during your decent. No experience is necessary to jump with us, so almost anyone over the age of 14 can give tandem skydiving a go! But why stop there? Here at Jump The Beach Mission Beach, we run weekly solo courses, if you want a taster of what its like to skydive by yourself, and for those wanting to go all the way and become certified skydivers, we have the Accelerated Freefall (AFF) course, which starts weekly on a Tuesday. In less than 2 weeks you could be qualified to jump solo, with an internationally recognised qualification which allows you to jump all over the world!
